We are currently looking for an Accountant & Reporting Analyst within the finance department who will join our dynamic team based in our offices in Milan.

Your opportunity

The Mall Luxury Outlets is a Kering company whose core business is to build and operate luxury fashion outlet villages where we offer to our guests not just shopping services but a 360 degree beauty experience.

The lush, green hills of the Tuscan countryside provide a picturesque setting for The Mall Firenze, while the flowered Ligurian hills, are the backdrop for The Mall Sanremo, opened in June 2019. The Mall Firenze and The Mall Sanremo offer to all our guests to experience of beauty in all its forms that goes beyond the classic concept of shopping.

You will join the finance team taking care of monthly closing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and financial analysis for TMLO Group. You will work closely with all departments, the accounting team and Financial Shared Service Center.

How you will contribute

  • Supporting TMLO departments in invoicing’s collection detailing the correct cost center/cost nature, managing the payment’s approval flow
  • Monitoring costs & CAPEX in compliance with Orders and budget approved analyzing the deviance versus actual figures guaranteeing the consistency
  • Cooperating with Financial Shared Service Center and accounting team in the preparation of yearly statutory financial statements and monthly actual closing, ensuring accurate management reporting package in compliance with Group reporting principle
  • Constantly monitoring the budget/forecast tracking all projects by department and providing details of each deviance versus actual figures
  • Actively participating to the creation of the budget/forecast and business plan for TMLO Group
  • Supporting TMLO departments in all finance and accounting daily matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control
  • Supporting in the preparation of the monthly financial call and budget/forecast meetings with Kering Finance Head Quarter
  • Collaborating with tax department in all the topics related to income tax
  • Collaborating and supporting the audit team (internal and external)
  • Helping on the implementation of new financial digital flows
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports or analysis at the request of management
  • Keeping accounting and finance archive updated and organized

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • You have proven experience in this role in a multinational environment
  • You have excellent quantitative and financial modelling skills
  • You have deep working experience with financial statement
  • You have knowledge of accounting, general ledger booking, tax matters
  • You have knowledge of national and international financial reporting standards
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented
  • You are a dynamic, proactive, flexible and team player
  • You have high ethical standards, integrity and high level of discretion
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to a constant changing environment
  • You are expert user MS Office Suite
  • You have knowledge of English both spoken and written; French knowledge will be considered a plus
