Mission The Area Sales Manager - LATAM is responsible for managing and developing the business in the assigned area. The main objective of the role is to actively and proactively drive and generate sales, achieve budget targets by building and implementing sales plans for the area of competence, and manage P&L drivers in order to reach expected profitability levels Who are we looking for A highly dynamic, results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record of success in the Luxury industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in highly competitive markets and has a deep knowledge of both point-of-selling dynamics and B2B environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Build Budget and Sales Plans by distributor/area
  • Drive Sell out and achieve Net Sales and Ebit targets;
  • Build strong relationships both with distribution partners and with Kering Eyewear team in HQ.
  • Communicate and present brand values and positioning together with collections highlights.
  • Propose assortment plans in order to maximize customers’ sell-out (category management for specific key accounts);
  • Build Joint Sales and Marketing Plans with the chains in line with global guidelines ;
  • Periodically collect and analyze sell-out reports from customers and build action plans accordingly ;
  • Regular visits to customers to ensure merchandising standards in line with the agreed plans ;
  • In cooperation with the Trade Marketing Manager propose and negotiate trade and digital marketing plans ;
  • Set up the most suitable supply chain process in order to ensure the highest service level and orders fulfillment rate i.e. collaborative planning, VMI ecc. Collect and manage orders in cooperation with customer services department ;
  • Ensure the highest possible customer service and follow up on orders and deliveries ;
  • Assisting the Customer Service and Finance department with invoice, debit and credit note queries.

Requirements 

  • Account/Distributors Management with a proven track record in Luxury/fashion accessories/lifestyle;
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation capabilities;
  • Significant working experience in and knowledge of the Latin America market (specifically Brazil)
  • Experience in the Eyewear Industry is highly desirable
  • Sales driven with the ability to expand existing business and identify/ develop new opportunities;
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize and manage own workload;
  • Confident in dealing with customers and managing all aspects of the account;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Pro-activity in identifying and converting opportunities ;
  • Analytical skills and problem solving attitude;
  • Flexibility, hands-on approach, ability to handle multi-tasks;
  • Proven record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment;
  • Ability to work within fast growing environments and to contribute to build a new organization; 
  • Entrepreneurship, innovation attitude, exceptional commitment to teamwork;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to seasonal and customer deadlines;
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent English and Spanish, Portuguese highly desirable, Italian as a plus
  • Travel time up 30%-40%
