GUCCI Client Services Performance Analyst

Role Mission As a member of the retail team, the Retail Performance Analyst will monitor, optimize, and analyze the retail business to drive performance across all areas. This position will focus on the data analytics related to internal KPIs of productivity, workforce management, quality, and sales. The ideal candidate is analytical thinker with a retail background, who can transform performance data into actionable insights. This individual will develop an innovative approach to reporting and analysis, from which enhanced strategic actions can be taken. The Client Services team based in Jersey City, New Jersey, is an internal hub that collaborates cross-functionally with corporate departments and stores to ensure a 360-degree Omni-channel client experience. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the analysis and implementation of business strategies and action plans across all channels – in close collaboration with the Client Services team;
  • Anticipate and monitor reporting to gauge business performance;
  • Develop and evolve the Client Service reporting tools;
  • Track, analyze, and update daily/weekly reports for the Client Service teams;
  • Set KPIs in partnership with the management team;
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting on KPI’s for weekly and monthly reporting;
  • Support data and trend analysis for various areas of the business;
  • Ensure the year is proactively organized to maximize staff presence when needed based on business needs and seasonality (definition of high season vs low season, % of holidays to be granted, yearly training plan);
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape particularly related to innovation and the evolution of business models;
  • Perform impact analysis of major business changes;
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects to improve operational efficiency;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information and align on strategies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other with a strong quantitative focus from an accredited four-year college or university;
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an analytical, strategic role preferably in retail;
  • Strong prioritization skills; proven ability to be successful in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment;
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to thrive under pressure;
  • Great people skills, capacity to effectively interact with peers and superiors of all levels;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, developing a respectful and pleasant, yet committed and efficient environment;
  • Advanced knowledge and skill within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze complex arrays of data;
  • Experience with Oracle, Salesforce and/or Cybersource preferred;
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrix environment to deliver and share results.
