Role Mission

The Part-time Account Executive for Gucci Watches and Jewelry, based in Washington D.C., is responsible for providing unparalleled customer service in order to increase overall sales volume, reinforce brand image and exploit brand presence through merchandising, training and  in-store sales support within each point of sale (POS), both independent and national accounts, in the Washington D.C. area.

Key Accountabilities

  • Travel to specified markets to service, train and prospect the national and independent account points of sale;
  • Work in conjunction with Manager and/or National Sales Managers to drive and develop business- through regular review of  sales trends, seasonal projections and proposals;
  • Conduct regular business reviews with client (i.e. sales stats,  marketing initiatives and brand updates), using the store metrics phone app at each visit;
  • Merchandise each POS in adherence of corporate guidelines in order to maximize sales and brand exposure;
  • Work with store staff, in conjunction with marketing team, to develop and grow brands visual presence within the store and mall/vicinity;
  • Conduct regular and ongoing trainings, both, informal in-store and formal regional trainings;
  • Update sales associates and store personnel of all product references, new product launches, core assortments, advertising, technical information of product portfolios- i.e. utilize  all tools to maximize the sales potential;
  • Work closely with all internal company departments: Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure corporate guidelines and procedures are followed;
  • Provide unparalleled customer service and follow up to each retailer;
  • Coordinate in-store needs for seasonal sales campaigns and events – i.e. Trunk Shows, Sales Incentives, Peak season sales support;
  • Adhere to all company budgets, policies and procedures;
  • Develop personnel relationships with the sales staff and department managers at all retailers in your territory;
  • Spend time in store/field to support the independent and national retailers' business through training and merchandising;
  • Responsible for direct sales through prospecting new accounts and selling to specific independent accounts;
  • Merchandise each POS in adherence of corporate guidelines in order to maximize sales and brand exposure;
  • Responsible for personal and training T & E budgets.

  • Strong retail fashion/luxury background;
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while cultivating strong relationships in the field;
  • Residency in local market;
  • Professionally groomed in keeping with Gucci Image and standards;
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
