Role Mission

The Part-time Gucci Watches and Jewelry Brand Ambassador based in Bloomingdale’s 59th Street will be responsible for providing unparalleled customer service to increase overall sales volume, reinforce brand image and exploit brand presence through merchandising, training and in-store sales support within the national department store. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Work effectively with the department store team to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales budgets;
  • Work strategically in conjunction with sales team to drive/grow business in the store;
  • Provide constant communication and feedback on sales, successes, opportunities and challenges within shop and greater department and store to National Accounts team;
  • Develop relationships throughout the store with managers, the Gucci DOS or leased space to cross-sell with other Gucci categories and utilize all tools available to assist in developing a client base for the timepiece and jewelry shop;
  • Work in conjunction with sales team to continue to develop the skill set of the department store watches and jewelry team to increase sales and better represent Gucci;
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided within the Gucci environment;
  • Merchandise shop in adherence of corporate guidelines to maximize sales and brand exposure;
  • Conduct business meetings with the department and/or store managers;
  • Update sales associates of any new product launches, advertising, technical information pertaining to their collection;
  • Maintain Gucci standards while following national department store procedures;
  • Attend Gucci corporate training, sales meetings and local events to stay updated on brand knowledge and be present for all corporate management visits to the shop.

  • High interest in and aptitude for unparalleled customer service;

  • Strong retail fashion/luxury background;
  • Professionally groomed in keeping with Gucci Image and standards;
  • 2+ years’ experience in the related field;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
