Role Mission

Retail Operations is one of the most critical departments and the main link in supporting business growth while adhering to all Gucci policies and procedures.   Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Retail Operations Coordinator provides support with all administrative tasks as well as all activities as they relate to standards, guidelines and standardization of best practices.  This role will also serve as a point person for various day-to-day store operational topics such as packaging, uniforms, invoices, etc.  calls. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with the Director of Operations and Operations Managers to streamline communication for the retail population, including the creation and updating materials as well as gathering submissions for weekly retail updates;
  • Place orders and assist in the distribution of non-merchandise supplies to the network;
  • Coordinate with the warehouse/third party logistics (3PL) to facilitate and track issues;
  • Schedule weekly alignment calls and provide meeting minutes to ensure cascading of information is properly saved;
  • Monthly reporting of the auditing of procedural compliance in stores;
  • Compile and analyze feedback on in-store initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • 3 years’ operations experience;
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Must be highly organized and able to keep track of projects with many moving pieces;
  • Highly resourceful, flexible and able to solve problems in a timely manner;
  • Utilize resources to eliminate roadblocks and drive process improvement;
  • Must be detailed oriented and results oriented;
  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of retail business, demands and needs;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment;
  • Prior experience with SAP.
