Your Opportunity
The EDI Analyst will join our team to contact and resolution follow-up for all internal users and external trading partners. Resolve as many user/trading partner-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases. Act as a liaison between trading partners and internal support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation. Maintain communications with customers/user group during the problem resolution process. Will perform EDI Development including interactions with Trading Partner, user groups, management and developers.
How you will contribute
Create mapping requirement specifications from trading partner guidelines
Review change requests from internal clients to existing trading partner implementations
Working with a technical analyst and a development team to ensure that they understand the specifications and partners with internal stakeholders to plan, test, and implement all software changes to ensure that solutions conform to the desired quality standard
Understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
Has a basic understanding of SAP and IT and deep understanding of the B2B function.
Ability to work with the vast array of information and to cope with rapidly changing information
Able to work in a collaborative environment, including facilitation skills to lead requirements workshops
Able to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
Maintain and support all customer EDI transactions by working very closely with B2B customers on supporting all EDI transactions.
Design, implement and support the key functional and technical mapping of SAP IDOCs in interfacing with the PO (850), PO change (860), PO Acknowledgment (855), Shipments (856), Invoices (810), Credit/ Debit memos (812), Rejections (824), Product Catalogue (832) etc.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems or equivalent working experience in wholesale supply chain
Maintain, enhance and support the Wholesale Operations – EDI, SAP and WMS
More than 5 years of
EDI – SAP, X12, EDIFACT, XML experience
SAP – S4/HANA, iDOC, FMS, Retail, SCM, Integrations, AIF
Supply chain transactional knowledge (850, 856, 810, 180, 820)
Vendor EDI data analysis
EDI data monitoring and reporting
EDI error resolution and tracking
Mailbox monitor and response handling
A good understanding of supply chain processes within a company
Knowledge of Retail – Product Catalogue, Vendor, Purchase/Sales Order, Inventory, Warehouse Mgmt. System SCM, Logistics, Invoicing is a plus
Understanding Agile and Waterfall project management methodology
Ability to lead and promote change in an environment of rapidly changing technologies and business processes
Strong skills in documenting the designs and processes. Knowledge of Visio a plus
Experience with Integration with Simple Logistics, Wholesale and Retail Operations is a big plus
Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation and delivery.
Experience in Fashion/Luxury/Retail Industry is preferred
Familiarity in working with SolMan is preferred
Certifications in SAP a plus
Language skills in Italian / French is a plus
