Your Opportunity
The Security Specialist is responsible for the security and safety of our employees and visitors at Kering. The Security Operations Center helps facilitate critical communications and tracking for a multitude of purposes (crisis management; overnight facility operations; traveler safety; facility threats; global security incidents; etc.).
The Security Specialist will provide support to business partners and will manage the escalation and communication of security issues to both field personnel and HQ leadership. This position will be stationed in our corporate offices located in Wayne, New Jersey.
How you will contribute
- Act as the communication lead and point of contact between field response personnel, Security and Loss Prevention Business Partners and the Security Operations Manager
- Coordinate the day to day standard operational procedures for the Command Center
- Enter incident and/or crisis data into case management systems, ensuring accuracy and thorough reporting
- Monitor and document all overnight operation within store locations
- Communicate with alarm companies and assist in contacting emergency services with information and directions to responding law enforcement.
- Conduct LP/Security internal audits in accordance with Departmental requirements
- Manage the access control system, alarm monitoring, CCTV system, lighting system, video recording systems, social media monitoring, emergency communication system, and all other technologies deployed in the Security Operations Center
- Monitor entrances and exits; prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; control entrances, the movement of employees
- Execute call trees for senior business leaders and Corporate Security personnel; directory of facility support units; directory of support organizations which would be utilized during a crisis
- Participate in response plans and training exercises to establish baseline organizational response to events
- Ensure all forms of communications, such as emails, phone conversations, and client interactions are all conducted in a confidential, courteous and professional manner
- Maintain the security of confidential information and data
Who you are
- 2+ years directly related, multi-unit LP and/or retail work experience
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical skills necessary to demonstrate the ability to solve problems
- Maintains confidentiality concerning all information and projects
- Experience in successful LP, shortage control, safety/fire/accident reduction & fraud prevention programs
- Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Values & exhibits the highest level of personal integrity
- Knowledge on CCTV and access control systems
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel are required
- Demonstrated knowledge of security practices, including emergency response
- Must be flexible and able to work traditional and non-tradition work hours as determined by and event, circumstance, or needs of the business
