We are currently seeking a Public Relations Coordinator who will report to the Director of Public Relations. YOUR OPPORTUNITY The PR Coordinator is to be a strong second-in-command to the PR Director, who oversees all press-related activities for the North, Central and South America markets. The PR Coordinator’s main responsibilities include booking looks for editorial shoots and coordinating sample trafficking needs with the PR Intern(s); overseeing the packing and logging of outgoing samples; ensuring all returns are being processed and notated in a timely manner; responding to press inquiries and supplying information and assets when appropriate, among others. Additionally, the PR Coordinator will organize regional advertising, reacting to retail and wholesale needs, as well as oversee PR Intern(s). This position reports to the PR Director and works closely with counterparts in the main press office in Paris.


  • Oversee sample trafficking for the North American, Central America and South America markets
  • Oversee press credit distribution, archive and reporting
  • Manage/train interns to assist PR office with daily logistic needs, while simultaneously checking their work on the following areas:
    • Sample packing and deliveries
    • Ensuring timely returns
    • Creating accurate loan records
    • Placing global shipments
    • Creating dossiers on VIP celebrities
  • Support the PR Director in maintaining the Press Archive
    • Track and record all online credits
    • Request hard copy publications each month to record press clippings
    • Send email distributions to the US teams for monthly credits and VIP dressing alerts
  • Support the PR Director in organizing attendance and appointments for main collection shows remotely
  • Organizing appointments for pre-collection press days
  • Oversee showroom organization
    • Making sure showroom is clean and organized at the end of each day
    • Keeping showroom stocked by ordering supplies weekly
    • Maintain good condition of samples
  • Assist in coordinating lease-required advertising for regional publications
  • Cultivate and maintain working relationships with key editors
  • Oversee and fulfill Credit Requests in a timely manner from publications and with recording monthly credit lists
  • Responsible for accurately recording and maintaining the Petty Cash and Invoicing at the NY PR Office
    • Ensuring that the petty cash report is accurate & up-to-date at all times with available funds to be accounted for bi-weekly in the ledger
    • Record and accurately notate all invoices linked to the NY PR Office for timely processing including: auditing, notating and processing invoices linked to special projects (i.e. design meetings, black-car services/airport cars, tailors, dry cleaning and thank-you flowers


  • Bachelor degree with major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the fashion industry, preferably in marketing, public relations or related disciplines
  • Established connections with PR & Marketing agencies and excellent contacts with the media and press
  • Experience within sample trafficking, managing interns & assistants, coordinating press day s & scheduling press appointments
  • Extensive knowledge of different types of media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, proactive, detail-minded and resourceful
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
