Your opportunity

The candidate, leading a Team of 3 Resources, will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers, creating credit scoring models, approving and rejecting credit limits, negotiating payment term and updating the Group’s Credit Policy.

How you will contribute

  • Properly motivating and leading the Credit Team

  • Preparing and guaranteeing training for Team members

  • Optimization of credit management processes

  • Developing, reviewing and updating Group’s credit policy & procedures for continuous improvements by collaborating with various departments

  • Building new and strengthen relationship with internal and external customers

  • Managing credit and collection activities including processing new credit application, assessing the creditworthiness and approving credit limits for new and existing customers

  • Validating orders which are placed on hold by SAP at the time of entry or shipping

  • Ensuring credit exposure for ongoing customers are maintained within their approval limits

  • Addressing overdue payments by contacting customers and working internally with Salespeople

  • Ensuring compliance of payment terms and perform account reconciliation by reviewing aging reports weekly

  • Effectively negotiating in complex customer situations

  • Promoting sales growth by using professional judgement to prevent credit risks

  • Implementing a monthly dashboard to share a Group picture on KPI’s, trends (top customer aging) and actions on past due accounts

  • Periodically presenting monthly results to Corporate staff

  • Preparing monthly reports of past due accounts and other various reports as required

  • Monitoring periodic credit reviews

  • Calculating bad debt provision

  • Calculating and set interest rates

  • Credit insurance management

  • Ability to reach KPI goals (DSO, % overdue, Bad Debt expenses…)

  • Coordinating worldwide local Credit Teams activities

  • Supporting subsidiaries, if necessary, in solving critical credit issues

  • Who you are

  • 5+ years of credit experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance

  • Ability to review financials

  • Experience with credit scoring systems preferred

  • Knowledge of tools and techniques to debt collection

  • Credit-related laws knowledge

  • Local and IFRS accounting rules good capacity for balance analysis are required

  • Considerable experience with customer negotiations.

  • Fluent in English

  • SAP working knowledge is a plus
