This is a newly created position to be responsible of leading the merchandising function in Asia Pacific by formulate the merchandising planning and buying strategies across the region.


  • To work closely with the HQ and Regional Management Team on planning and delivering strong business strategy that will aid in the further success of the merchandising function
  • To develop, formulate, and execute key merchandising strategies and buying flow to optimize sales and inventory efficiency which aligned with retail objectives
  • To manage OTB, pricing strategy, and marketing analysis to ensure high sell-through and an excellent sales performance across all categories and stores
  • To formulate and manage new product launch plan with an aim to achieve business strategies
  • To collaborate with retail and communications function on planning and executing effective projects in building product awareness and boosting sales
  • Travel to seasonal buy trips and occasion market visits is required


  • Bachelor Degree in Fashion Retail & Management, Textiles or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 10-year relevant experience in fashion merchandising/buying with international luxury houses
  • Strong fashion and market sense with solid high-end fashion buying experience
  • Experience in managing and buying for the Asia Pacific market is preferred
  • Possess extensive knowledge in merchandise planning
  • Well organized, self-initiative, excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
  • Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
