Responsibilities
- Define and drive the Talent Acquisition strategy for all hiring activity across the area of responsibility, for both store & office positions
- Monitor FTE evolution and forecast the hiring needs in collaborating with People Partners (PP).
- Develop and introduce unique sourcing strategies and hiring plans for specific requisitions. Reflect them on to recruiting budget and propose.
- Build strong business knowledge and integrate into strategies for sourcing and attracting talents
- Partner with Hiring Managers and build strong client relationships with them:
- Source candidates proactively, screen and present relevant candidates. Provide recommendation on their talent assessment and decision.
- Focus on quality of hire:
- Regularly exercise market talent mapping for all positions, maintain and utilize talent pool database for business needs
- Provide necessary interview training to hiring managers and drive interview competencies as the company
- Collaborate effectively with HR internal partners. Drive operational excellence in HR. Improve efficiencies through current operation, implement and adopt new-standard roles, processes, metrics.
- Understand local legal situation with regard to contracts, visa/work permits, etc.
Competencies
- Solid expertise of talent acquisition; identify and source right candidates, screen and interview for all level of positions, ideally in Retail industry.
- Experience and demonstrated creative thinking in HR projects. Sense of commitment to the organization and passion for placing candidates.
- Effective strategic thinking, problem solving, cross-group collaboration, and high level of Japanese/English language ability.
