This is a 6-month contract position within the construction project management team of the Kering group, you will be under the supervision of the Head of Construction APAC supporting and ensuring the control and follow-up of construction projects in Hong Kong.

How you will contribute

  • Collect and summaries the needs in term of space planning or fit out definition with right evaluation tools

  • Support to prepare technical and contractual documents for tenders to select General Contractors and various Suppliers, based on standard procedure and contract

  • Control and support all parties to achieve the projects with high quality standards and cost efficiency in the time allowed

  • Analyze, monitor and report costs during all phases of the projects (budget, cost control, variation orders)

  • Analyze, monitor and report schedule and deadlines during all phases of the projects to ensure an on-time delivery

  • On-site control to verify works compliance to standards and requirements

  • Support to control contractual and administrative aspects of construction process (purchase requests, purchase orders, contract management, invoice tracking and approval…)

  • Understand client’s needs and constraints to highlight the main objectives and risks of the projects

  • Support on uploading data in the reporting tool for the follow-up of projects. Deliver administrative reports

  • Verify and archive the project final acceptance including as built documents to keep up to date the database of construction projects

  • Implement new local procedures when it is necessary

  • Ad hoc support activities to the Head of Construction

  • Candidate who could work full-time will be considered the position of Construction Project Assistant

Who you are

  • Student or fresh graduate in engineering, architectural or scientific studies

  • Computer skills:
    - Proficiency in MS office software
    - Operational and autonomous knowledge of Microsoft project is a plus
    - Operational and autonomous knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

  • Fluent in English. Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus

  • Rigorous, detail-minded and looking for exactitude

  • Respect of deadlines

  • Excellent analytical skills, common sense, logical and rational thinking

  • Organized to be able to work on several simultaneous projects

  • Reactive, loyal, good interpersonal skills and team-working attitude

  • Able to define an action plan to reach a global objective

  • Full-time worked candidate would be considered as Construction Project Assistant
