Merchandiser

Role Mission;
The Merchandiser supports the Merchandising Manager in daily analysis and buying activities as well as participates in regular Store Visits.
Key Accountabilities;
• Analyzes daily sales trend of his/her product category by item and store, and periodically
prepares necessary reports
• Supports Merchandising Manager in the preparation of data analysis and overall
documents needed
• Supports the Merchandising Manager in the preparation of orders and documents
needed during the Buying Campaign
• Works closely with the local Inventory Planning team on providing all information needed
for product replenishment and allocation to stores, based on the indications provided
by the Merchandising Manager
• Collects relevant competitor and market knowledge on products, pricing, trends and
events
• Takes care of a specific project within his/her product category or Merchandising
department in order to take on own responsibilities
Job Requirements;
• Bachelor degree in business administration, statistics, mathematics, engineering
or related Supply Chain fields;
• At least 5 year's experience;
• Experience in retail environment with hands-on knowledge of retail processes
and procedures;
• Strong analytical abilities;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Detail oriented;
• Extreme accuracy & precision;
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment;
• Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory;
• Experience in using of Windows, Excel, Outlook and BI tools in order to monitor
performances and KPIs;
• Experience with size analysis;
• Availability to travel;
• Luxury fashion house experience preferred but not required.
