QEELIN - Sustainability Assistant Manager

ROLE

Oversees Qeelin’s Sustainability strategy, in line with the vision of the Kering group and the ambitions of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee (D&I). This role will be instrumental in leading transformation across the business and the industry as a whole towards a sustainable future, ensuring the Company meets and overachieves its Sustainability goals.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Strategy Designing and Execution

• Formulate strategies and action plans to drive Qeelin’s sustainability initiatives in alignment with business priorities and upcoming regulations

• Execute and lead sustainability activities to enhance employee engagement and community investment on sustainability issues

• Evaluate the implementation and assess the impact of the sustainability actions carried out through goal follow up

• Monitor and synthesize industry trends, regulation evolutions, and stakeholder requirements in Sustainability

• Develop strategic reports and recommendations inspired by emerging technology/processes to be translated into actionable plans for Qeelin

• Be the ambassador to drive the overall sustainability mindset in Qeelin

Internal/External Stakeholder Management

• Support Qeelin D&I Committee to nurture an inclusive and diverse work environment across the company

• Develop and lead impactful communication plans for both internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness and accelerate change at every level of the organization

• Build an effective network of external (WWF, foundations…) and internal stakeholders (Kering Sustainability teams and operational teams across the organization) closely to define and drive a data-driven Sustainability roadmap

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s Degree or above

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience, from Jewelry industry or professional/consulting/auditing firm is preferred

• With experience related to mining, D&I, supply chain management, RJC or traceability is a plus

• Track record in successfully leading projects with important change components

• Experience in project management, defining and managing processes, and leading transversal projects are appreciated

• Multi-tasking, proactive, organized, detail-minded, result-oriented and able to work under pressure & unpredictable occurrence

• With Jewellery manufacturing know-how or knowledge in diamonds and hard stones would be an advantage

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
