We are currently seeking a Retail Manager who will report to Retail Director as part of our dynamic team in China.
ROLE
You will lead the retail team of the assigned region to achieve retail performance KPIs, improve customer relations and enhance the quality of store operations to better support business.
MISSION
SALES
- Define sales objectives and key elements of retail P&L
- Develop effective strategies to meet performance KPIs
- Monitor daily store performance and complete sales reporting
- Work closely with Merchandising, VM, PR and external partners to ensure all the resources (eg. Stock, product mix, visual display, brand image) are available to support the sales
- Actively provide recommendations and suggestions to the senior management on the local market, the sales strategies and initiatives
- Serve as the inventory control expert on all SKUs
- Responsible for outlets, from a stock side. Define the strategies and work closely with regional VM and Merchandising to enhance outlet opportunities
- Track of MD sales during MD season and coordinate return to Cargo/ Cargo Outlet
- Analyze promotional strategies to determine profitability and make recommendations for future needs
- Review weekly business at details levels of quantities and amounts level to identify risks and opportunities
STORE AND TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Supervise the store operations management, work closely with Merchandising, VM to ensure that the corporate guidelines and service standards are met
- Recruit, train and develop retail team
- Manage and coach the store directors to enable them to develop the business and the team
- Motivate retail team and create the environment to boost performance and team cooperation
CRM
- Guarantee a reliable and qualitative CRM database, with monitoring of the capture rate
- Formulate CRM action plan
- Work with CRM dept. to organize CRM event
PROFILE
- Education background: Bachelor’s degree and above
- Working Experience: 10 years working experience or above in the retail industry with 5 years at supervisory level with premium brands
- Strong market knowledge of luxury retail business and CRM management
- Good leadership qualities
- Strategic thinking with good execution capabilities
- Attention to details
- Dealing with ambiguities
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and analytical skills with high sensitivity to figures
- Fluent spoken and written Mandarin and English is a must. Entrepreneurship
- Highly proficient in MS-Office
- Willing to travel extensively and frequently
