Alexander McQueen is currently seeking a 3D Modeler to be based in our London Head Office. This role who will work closely with the Design teams to support in the realization of 3D models based on Design sketches and existing 2D models for footwear.
Working in a small team - Alexander McQueen is looking for someone to join the team 3D Modeler for our designs across the design department. You will have the chance to set up the project and grow it as a cutting-edge technology that will pave the path of the future.
How you will contribute:
Realization of 3D models based on Design sketches and existing 2D models.
Collaborate with Product Development team in interpretation of inputs received from design team.
Coordinate the placement of fabrics and embroidery in order to optimize the consumption and verify the visual rendering of the materials.
Perform all modifications based on feedback from the Design office and fittings.
Work closely with other team members to translate design concepts.
Build up and maintain a pattern archive
Knowledge of CAD Lectra and CLO 3D is fundamental
Experienced in producing accurate 3D models
Good planning and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Advanced ability to interpret a brief accurately
Fluent in English required
