Alexander McQueen are currently in search of an efficient Atelier Fabric Assistant to join the house and support the Design & Atelier teams with the management, processing & movement of all fabric based in our Central London HQ.
How you will contribute?
Management of all fabric stock within the Alexander McQueen Atelier.
Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all fabric movements, requests & stock levels.
Monitoring fabric budgets for each season.
Anticipating any potential overbudget.
Continuous monitoring of continuity fabrics.
Distributing fabrics to various departments within the business.
Working closely with the archive team to store fabric, whilst ensuring quality is continuously preserved.
Coordination of Fabric transfers via designated couriers to/from suppliers.
Who you are?
Previous experience working within fabric/atelier coordination is desirable
Sound knowledge of fabric storage techniques
Adaptable, fast & proactive, with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests, while working under pressure
Strong knowledge of fabric terminology
Enthusiastic & Passionate
Excellent organisational & communication skills
