Alexander McQueen is looking for a highly organised and customer service focused HR Assistant to join the growing HR team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in HR, who has already gained some experience in administration across the employee lifecycle.
How you will contribute?
Take ownership of HR related administration, ensuring files are compliant for GDPR and for audit purposes
Support the new starter process including the induction and onboarding of new joiners
Ensure the accurate recording of right to work information on the first day of employment
Transactional processing of activities during the employee life
Manage fixed term and temporary assignment requests, obtaining the necessary budget approval and administering timesheets and payroll in a timely manner
Assist with minute taking and communications as required for employee relations or team meetings
Support with HR related projects as required
Provide support and assistance in screening candidates and scheduling interviews on behalf of both HR and line managers
Who you are?
An interest in and working towards a qualification in Human Resources
Previous experience working within a fast-paced HR environment
Customer centric approach to work
Knowledge of UK employment law beneficial and familiar with communicating Corporate policies and procedures
Ability to act with discretion at all times
Excellent attention to detail and highly organised, even when working under pressure
Agile and positive ‘can-do’ attitude to work, both individually and as a team
Previous experience administering HR related data on a HRIS system (Workday beneficial) and in Excel
Entrepreneurial and solutions focused, identifying & seeing through opportunity for development
Excellent communication skills and ability to keep stakeholders fully informed
