We are currently seeking a Store Planning Director who will be responsible for procurement and cost control within ALEXANDER MCQUEENS retail environment, working closely with the store planning director and other stakeholders within the business to manage and control future evolution whilst maintaining the highest quality of material and service.

Reporting to the Store Planning Director, this role will be accountable for the creation & execution of the strategy that will allow for the optimization and reduction of the worldwide capex for store projects, office & showroom projects across the wider ALEXANDER MCQUEEN business.

How you will contribute:

  • Manage procurement projects (specification work, sourcing, negotiation, contract, roll-out & communication) in close partnership with brands/Kering stakeholders

  • Execute fruitful sourcing strategies

  • Cost forecast for any new store, offices and showroom projects, for both AMQ and McQ brands

  • Contribution in providing value engineering solutions on running projects

  • Bulk orders definition and management of the production quality control

  • Periodic Financial alignment with Finance teams

  • Cost analysis for AMQ and McQ stores and reporting to the AMQ & Kering Board.

  • Set-up of the AMQ procurement protocol, in cooperation with Kering procurement team

  • Suppliers and Consultants certification, including audits on site and prototypes validation.

  • Monitor suppliers with regular business review and reporting (balance sheets, performance, quality, level of services)

  • manage the company’s purchases of services and materials

Your skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience within the luxury retail environment.

  • Engineer or equivalent experience with proven working experience as a cost controller, procurement manager or procurement officer

  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques within Luxury environment and high-end destinations

  • Talent in negotiations and networking

  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

  • Excellent leadership capabilities but also talent in team working

  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data

  • IT knowledge: standard Office and Adobe packages, on Mac and Android

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels of organization; English mandatory, French, Italian and/or Mandarin are a plus
