Alexander McQueen are currently seeking a Senior Management Accountant who will report to the Corporate Controller as part of our dynamic London team who are responsible for providing first line support to the business on behalf of the Worldwide Finance department.
This role will be well suited to an experienced and qualified Management Accountant, who is proactive and has experience working in a similar environment, looking to make an impact in a fast-paced company.
How you will contribute?
Business Partner across the following departments: Operations, Legal, Samples, MIS, Design, Corporate Social Responsibility
Ownership of the P&L for the above cost centres including managing monthly accruals and various adjustments
Maintain the monthly intercompany reconciliation across all cost centres
Monthly payroll adjustments for Casual Workers
Manage the Clothing Allowance schedule
Support budget holders across the six departments above to prepare budget and reforecast (twice yearly)
Responsible for the management of two direct reports: Assistant Accountant and Finance Assistant, encouraging development and ensuring improvement of Accounts Payable KPIs
Support the Corporate Controller and rest of the Finance team in all aspects of the Finance function
Assist in other financial activities as required and undertake ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Who you are?
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
3+ years’ experience in a similar Financial / Reporting environment
First class communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Proactive, responsive and action orientated
Highest level of attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a pressurised and time sensitive environment
Advanced Excel skills essential
Previous experience working within a fast-paced environment required (fashion or FMCG environment beneficial)
