GUCCI Customer Development Senior Manager

Are you ready to join a phenomenal company and be our hero in shaping a new customer journey? We have an extraordinary new opportunity to join the amazing department of Client Engagement. The role of Senior Customer Development Manager will be based in Milan, at the heart of our strategy. The mission of this newly crafted role is to develop highly engaged customers into new levels of connection with the brand and with the Gucci teams. The mission is to identify these customers and to build new journeys and best-in-class services to improve their Gucci cross-channel experience. Your goal will include the development and enrichment of a global plan that will include gifting offer. This area is key for the success of the Customer Engagement department and will have 2 people reporting into this role.

Key accountabilities:

  • With the support of internal teams You will define the yearly holistic strategy for the customer segment you are looking after at Global Level
  • Ensure there is an evolution in the spending of this customer segment
  • You will discover and upgrading “hidden gems” that are kept in our customer data base
  • You will be the global promoter and the pioneer of a multi-channel approach that will impact our client engagement strategy
  • You will craft and promote new initiatives that will drive more ad Hoc experiences

Key technical know how:

  • 5+ years developing high-value product categories
  • 8+ years defining and executing customer and corporate events in cross-channel business
  • Meaningful experience in the fashion/luxury business within merchandising, retail or client marketing functions.
  • 5 years experience leading a team

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKE HOLDERS:

  • Internal: Merchandising, special products, Training, product development, Events, VM, CID, consumer management, Digital Marketing
  • External: event agencies

IMPACT ON WHOLE ORGANISATION:

  • This role will change the way special product categories are presented and sold to customers in Gucci. To achieve this, a strong partnership with the above mentioned teams will be established, to elevate the customer experience for these product categories
  • This role will make an impact in moving into a clearly holistic view of our customers, enhancing cross-channel capabilities for the brand that will differentiate us from competitors
