Your opportunity
You will be part of the Worldwide Transport team, supporting the Worldwide B2C Transport Manager in all activities related to the E-Comm transportation of luxury goods. Collaborate to meet E-Comm business needs supporting the definition of transportation scenarios, their continuous improvement, and the constant monitoring of transport network performance
How you will contribute
Support the WW E-Comm Transport Manager in creating and modeling transportation scenarios, contributing to
develop logistics transport models benchmarking the market for the purpose of continuous service improvement
evaluate transportation scenarios, solutions and operational requirements
propose changes to the transport network and analyze their impact
Support the commercial interaction and contractual relationship with transport suppliers
Interact with Operations, providing support on service level issues reported through a dedicated action log
Assist the WW E-Comm Transport Manager in assessing the impact of strategic business decisions on transport within the Group transportation network
Support the implementation of transport changes
Identify sources and collect data on transport to measure services/costs (operational and financials KPIs)
Monitor transport and logistics costs by checking invoices and managing any contradictory that does not require escalation
Monitor KPIS related to the area of accountability in partnership with express couriers
Actively participate to budget definition
Support the WW E-Comm Transport Manager in collecting the sustainability data from the carriers and their reporting in collaboration with Sustainability Department
Support ad hoc analysis, assessment, and presentations (monthly service review, monthly carrier review)
Who you are
At least 2-3 years’ experience in global E-Comm company or Express forwarder logistic transport in contact with international complex organizations
Relevant experience in transport analysis and modeling
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent educational background (Engineering, Business Management, IT, or similar)
Fluent in English and Italian; French as a plus
Strong analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Power BI
Experienced in Transport Management Systems
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem solver and team player
Individual with can do attitude, good energy level, curious, focused on continuous improvement and innovation
