ROLE
Considered as an Internal Consulting unit within the Merchandising ecosystem, the Cross Merchandising team supports the Chief Product & Business Development Officer in strategic-oriented missions and process-optimization initiatives.
The scope encompasses Merchandising functions and is mostly related to Collection Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, Regional Merchandising on a Worldwide basis.
The role requires a resourceful individual with strong analytical skills, self-motivation, ability to convince and a good knowledge of project management.
MISSIONS
Work with the Director of Cross-Merchandising on strategic recurrent projects, their planning, execution and monitoring, reporting priorities and objectives. Track open items and due dates, work with main stakeholders to determine status and helping to ensure the achievement of the objectives/projects (e.g Budget and Sales Planning, OTB, Pricing strategy, Showrooms, Product performance, Product life cycle, Business reviews etc.)
Participate to strategic merchandising-related projects on a required basis, working transversally with other departments (e.g building performance reporting tools, working on store clustering, participating to the brand positioning strategy plan, supporting the permanent offer revision etc.)
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and lead documents preparation for the Maison’s Headquarters mixing merchandising expertise and other functions’ KPIs (e.g CRM or Retail).
Work with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and success, ensuring proper communication flow as needed by topic.
Prepare for Meetings & Presentations, analyzing data and collecting information.
PROFILE
Graduated from higher education Bac + 5 (preferably a Business School or an Engineering School)
Background from strategic consulting (2/3 years) or merchandising/ analytics in the luxury industry (4/5 years)
Strong analytical, data-crunching, conceptual and synthetical skills
Strong Excel, Power Point and Presentation skills
Proficiency in Power BI is a plus
Ability to work under short timing in a fast-paced environment, can multitask and meet deadlines, responding to issues quickly with an open and positive attitude
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments (Collection Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Regional Merchandising, Planning, CRM, Business Intelligence, Finance, Special Projects etc.)
Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a structured way of working
Drive projects with autonomy and pro-activity
Have a genuine interest in Business and Strategy
Sensibility & curiosity for the Fashion Luxury industry
Fluent level in English (written/oral) and preferably in French (written/oral)
Ability to Travel
