The Saint Laurent House is looking for an EMEA People Development Manager who will report to the EMEA HR Director, based in Paris.
ROLE
You will support Saint Laurent’s dynamic growth across the Europe and Middle East retail regions by embedding Kering and Saint Laurent people development programs locally, and hence create a unique employee experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In close collaboration with HR Managers in the regions, the WW people development team and the WW retail excellence team, you are the ambassador of Kering and Saint Laurent culture and people approaches and support the delivery of all people programs and initiatives through the employee life cycle:
Talent Acquisition
- Provide support to attract, select and hire the best talents in our stores in a very dynamic context, (organic growth and store openings).
- Leverage on WW tools and approaches to hire the best candidates (inclusive recruitment, assessment days, campus relations, talent pools, direct approach, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to enhance the talent acquisition practices in the region, and provide training or support to enhance the HR skills
- For key positions, directly manage recruitments (job definition, sourcing, interviews)
Onboarding
- Together with the EMEA Training manager and local HR teams, make sure the onboarding experience for all teams in stores (sales associates, managers, back of house) is driving performance
- Roll-out in the region all WW onboarding projects (new initiatives, constant improvement)
Talent management
- Responsible for the adoption of the Kering performance review process: manage the performance review campaigns, communication and training on the process, support to HR Managers, facilitation of trainings for new employees and managers
- Contribute to accelerate the development of career opportunities across the region: develop retail career paths, train managers on coaching conversations, directly run career conversations with targeted talents, identify gaps and develop projects to accelerate promotions and lateral moves, refer a friend campaign, communicate on internal platform to foster internal applications and communicate on successful mobility stories
- Coordinate the talent review for the region, responsible for the follow-up of actions (development plan, career conversations, etc.)
- If needed, launch initiatives to support the development of our talents in the region (mentoring, trainings, roll out of Inclusion & Diversity initiatives etc.)
- Coordinate the Kering People Survey across the region, support the HR Managers and managers in the analysis and action plans, follow-up on progress
Training and development
- Responsible for the management programs across EMEA, leveraging Kering and Saint Laurent global training programs
- Identify opportunities in our management capacities and offer the targeted initiatives
Culture
- Nurture our Culture through Moments that Matter, to foster engagement, pride, and sense of belonging (celebrations, giving back…)
Ad hoc projects
- People analytics: track HR data to understand the key issues and develop a relevant action plan (turn-over, quality of hire, share of internal/external recruitments, exit interviews, people survey, etc.)
- Work on project to build the future of our retail capacities
PROFILE
- 5-10 years of experience in HR, with a strong orientation on talent development (talent acquisition, training and development, performance management)
- Passion for excellence, high attention to details
- Experience in working in high-growth environments and get things done in a fast pace
- Experience in working in both global and local environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ideally experience in facilitating workshops/trainings
- Compelling business partnership and stakeholder management skills
- Great analytical and organizational skills, driven by projects achievement
- Strong in execution while understanding the global picture
- Highly resilient, relentless, and cheerful in the face of adversity
- Ability to travel across the region (20% of the time)
- Fluent in English and French, other language is a plus (German, Italian, Arabic, etc.)
