Among the greatest fashion designers of his time, the legacy of his work lives on.

Alexander McQueen is in search of an Events Manager to join their Communication and Marketing team. Reporting to the CRM & Marketing Director, the Events Manager will be responsible for managing brand image, wholesale, and retail events for the Americas region to enhance client engagement, retention, and acquisition.

How you will contribute:

  • Define the overall events strategy for the Americas from ideation to execution in collaboration with HQ, retail & wholesale teams inclusive of new store openings, third party, and charity partnerships, collection launches, and runway show activations

  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure brand standards are followed and executed flawlessly (concept, production, catering, gifting, entertainment etc.)

  • Lead the organization and execution of all onsite and offsite events logistics ensuring all components are aligned with the image and identity of the House

  • Travel to and provide onsite support for all events

  • Manage the local event budgets

  • Translate and adjust global event directives to fit local objectives and specificities

  • Provide timely event recaps containing quantitative and qualitative feedback for all events; partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate event ROI and impact on customer lifetime value

  • Drive client acquisition by identifying third party partners

  • Maintain master event calendar across retail and wholesale

  • Form strong relationships with local vendors and maintain a master list of key contacts by market

  • Research and evaluate event venues, conduct site visits, and make recommendations

  • Partner closely with the CRM team to develop client lists /targets for all client events

  • Work with HQ and merchandising to define a suite of gifts for events

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Strong, demonstrable experience working in a comparable role within a Luxury Retail environment

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional partners

  • Problem solver and creative thinker

  • Process focused and detail-oriented

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in events

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
