Role Mission

The Digital Analytics Manager will support the Digital Performance Director in driving the achievement of business goals and Digital business development for Gucci America.  The Manager will lead strategic planning and execution of tracking analytical insights for the Digital team.  Responsibilities include leveraging insights to uncover opportunities for improvement across our digital business, bringing together analytics, marketing, product, and operations areas to enhance overall performance.  This role will work cross functionally with Merchandising, Marketing and Communications, Digital Operations, Retail, Client Services and the Client Engagement teams. 

Key Accountabilities

Digital & Client Analytics

  • Lead the data analysis and insight development strategies to provide a better Client journey on;
  • Support business goals by tracking performance, reporting on key KPIs as well as developing strategic and actionable insights through data-driven analysis;
  • Examine behavior across client segments to uncover learnings that drive unique enhancements to our segmentation approach;
  • Lead the development of strategies to improve net promotor scores and client satisfaction;
  • Explore new and existing digital analytics tools to improve the time action on an area of improvement and reduce manual work in data processing;
  • Develop new ways of looking at data and consistently champion and reinforce the value of data to drive smart business decisions;

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Build annual sales budget and manage performance forecast incorporating historical performance data, market analysis and key business targets to achieve business goals;
  • Distill large amounts of data into a concise strategic vision, while developing improvements and efficiencies in the forecasting and reporting methodology;
  • Develop weekly and monthly dynamic reporting structure by examining full view of the Digital business including sales, merchandising, marketing, and operations;
  • Manage Google Analytics to monitor web performance, creating regular reports for relevant stakeholders and recommending UX optimizations based on visitor and benchmark targets (A/B testing);
  • Ensure that the online experience is aligned with Retail, to deliver consistent brand and coordinated experiences between the channels.


  • Support Omni-Channel success by examining the behavior of clients across channels and uncovering areas for enhancement;
  • Assess new market growth opportunities to support expansion;
  • Research and provide competitive insights from business/industry trends to identify opportunity/risk areas;
  • Map new way of understanding customer insights and potential (LTV mapping, omni channel trending, multi/high-potential category shoppers);
  • Oversee calendar of major brand events and follow up reporting – assess level of success and determine areas of greater opportunity for future endeavors.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (majors in Business, Economics/Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics); MBA/advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative role (eCommerce web analytics, finance, consulting, engineering);
  • Advanced use of Google Analytics 360 (use of Segments, Custom Dimensions, enhanced eCom dimensions and metrics, Custom Reports);
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required;
  • Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.);
  • Programing knowledge a plus (SQL, Python, R);
  • Must be a hands-on team member and operate with a start-up mentality to move the business forward;
  • Ability to translate quantitative data into strategic insights for high-level consumption;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, which demands both quick thinking and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to create and manage cross functional relationships.
