Role Mission
 

This Omnichannel Merchandising Analyst will develop an innovative approach to reporting and inventory analysis from which strategic actions to optimize the business can be taken. The Analyst will coordinate the gathering, collection, and synthesis of information with a unified, holistic lens to support the Director of Omnichannel Merchandising, in conjunction with the wider merchandising team, in pursuit of bringing the North America business to full potential.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support Director in optimizing and managing inventory by providing weekly and monthly standard reporting;

  • Analyze and contextualize selling reports to suggest and execute stock movements and transfers within Wayne or LGI;

  • Balance sales to stock ratios by channel in tandem with Inventory Planning and Supply Chain;

  • Partner closely with Inventory Planning, WW Supply Chain and Central Demand Planning to execute agreed upon strategic inventory moves;

  • Evaluate the stock allocation and distribution based on sales, distribution plan and rationing criteria to maximize service level on the site to support sales objectives;

  • Monitor sales and control the stock and saturation levels and propose destocking if needed;

  • Ensure monthly and seasonal newness and carryover deliveries are closely monitored and communicated to merchandising and digital partners;

  • Timely execution of weekly, monthly standard reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting and recapping as needed;

  • Analyzes and recommends actions to Director;

  • Supports Director in articulating merchandising strategies, performance, and inventory analytics;

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business or a related discipline is required;

  • Flexibility and ability to work a demanding schedule which can include on an adhoc basis evenings, weekends, and holidays;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
