Your Opportunity

Kering is currently seeking a Financial Analyst based in our Wayne, New Jersey location to support the accounting activity for one or more of our luxury brands.

How you will contribute

The Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in generating our financial results. This position will be the main point of contact with one or more of our luxury brands and will help us report accurate and timely financial data within a defined process. Specific tasks include:

  • Generate financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow
  • Manage the monthly reporting ensuring the accuracy of data between our ERP (currently Lawson with a planned transition to SAP) and our consolidation tool HFM
  • Update additional disclosures and other financial reporting in HFM
  • Prepare detailed P&L analysis to validate accuracy of data
  • Monthly analysis of financial results comparing current year financial date with prior year; this includes, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Ensure inter-company accounts are in balance for both foreign and domestic partners
  • Prepare analysis and supporting schedules for both internal and external audits
  • Review results with Brand Finance teams to validate results, understand coming events and ensure that these are properly treated
  • Understand business strategy and ensure that it is reflected in the financial results
  • Any other ad hoc activities as needed

Who you are

  • 7 – 10 years of relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles, both GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with ability to see big picture; EBIT,Tax, Net income and Cash Flow
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the financial position of a business and how it has evolved over time. This will need to be done with both finance and nonfinance colleagues, as well as within Kering and with our brands
  • Ability to adapt and learn as we implement new processes and structures
  • Close attention to detail
  • Curious to understand the business
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience utilizing accounting and finance software such as SAP, HFM, Hyperion, MS Excel, Smartview, Lawson, Movex and Blackline
  • Able to manage confidential information
  • Able to communicate with all levels of management
