    Role Mission:

    As the HR Controller within the Finance Division at Gucci, your mission is to meticulously oversee and manage all financial aspects related to human resources, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the organization's financial objectives. Your role involves collaborating closely with both HR and Finance teams to optimize personnel costs, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ultimately contributing to the financial health and success of the company.

    Key Accountabilities:

    Personnel Costs Management:

    • Oversight of monthly payroll payments, temporary agency fees, and bonus/incentive payments.
    • Management of accruals/provisions related to personnel costs to ensure financial accuracy.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Development of budgets and forecasts for store and office Full-Time Equivalents (FTE) and associated costs.
    • Facilitation of approval flows for new hiring and vacant positions in collaboration with HR and Finance functions.

    System Tools Maintenance:

    • Maintenance and optimization of system tools including Access, Workday, HR Cockpit, and HFM to streamline financial processes.

    HR Control Executive Summary:

    • Preparation of monthly dashboards reporting on key HR control KPIs, providing insights to Finance stakeholders.

    Monthly Cost Analysis:

    • Conducting analysis comparing operational expenditure (opex) against budget/forecast, facilitating informed decision-making.

    Bi-Weekly/Monthly Follow-ups:

    • Regular follow-ups with assigned functions (HR, Retail, etc.) regarding FTE status, productivity, and channel leverage.

    Alignment with Retail Controller:

    • Close collaboration with Retail controller to align on Store FTE, personnel costs, and commercial targets.

    Analysis and Action Plan Proposal:

    • Monthly analysis of personnel-related costs, incentives, bonuses, and proposing action plans for optimization.

    Incentive Setting and Analysis:

    • Setting incentives and analyzing achievement rates per location/population to ensure alignment with financial goals.

    Human Capital Allocation:

    • Managing human capital allocation under Store and Office cost centers to optimize resource utilization.

    Financial Simulations:

    • Conducting financial simulations for ad hoc HR initiatives, providing valuable insights for financial planning.

    Contract and Invoice Processing:

    • Reviewing and supporting contract and invoice processing related to HR, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

    Requirements:

    Key Behavioral Competencies:

    • Strong communication, technology, analytical, and management skills.
    • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA accreditation is a plus.
    • Previous experience in HR-related controlling/payroll management is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in Excel and HR information systems.
    • Fluent in English; proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
    • Demonstrated leadership and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
