Alexander McQueen are currently seeking a Chief Commercial Officer who will report into the CEO as part of our Global HQ team based in Central.
The Chief Commercial Officer plays an instrumental role in driving our Brand’s distribution strategy to manage and grow the retail and wholesale business across markets globally. This person leads the Global teams driving retail performance, including retail operations and retail training, as well as having the WW Wholesale Director, and Commercial Insights Manager reporting to them. Working closely with the Regional Presidents and the other members of the global HQ team, the Chief Commercial Officer will ensure that strategies are connected across all channels and properly executed.
How you will Contribute?
Execute in coordination with the Regional Presidents the retail strategy defined at HQ level
Define and embed the Commercial Strategy with the support of the WW Wholesale Director
Development and monitoring of the annual sales plan that aligns and underpins the strategy to achieve business objectives over the short, medium, and long term, in partnership with the Region Presidents, CFO and WW Wholesale Director
Fully leverage all enablers for sales growth across the business, ensuring that potential is maximised to drive profitable revenue and sustainable growth, e.g. identifying new personal shopping and Clienteling sales opportunities to maximise business growth
In partnership with the CRM department, ensures development of store CRM capabilities and implementation of client portfolio management
Apply the insight derived from relevant data to improve sales performance
Ensuring that Retail training, processes and structures are designed and implemented to support client experience centricity
Streamline retail operations processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient and effective
Ensure internal control procedures are implemented and closely monitored.
Who you are?
C-level executive or senior professional with extensive experience from commercial roles in retail, managing a customer orientated retail organization with P&L responsibilities
Knowledge and experience of and of elevating brand positioning
Excellent communication.
An inspirational leader who can connect and inspire peers, partners and reports and is able to engage with stakeholders across the business to deliver results
Proven track record in building high performance, multi-function, global teams
Strong business acumen, numerical agility and forward-thinking
Demonstrating agile trouble shooting and advocate best practice sharing across teams and regions
Ability and willing to travel
