We are currently seeking a Junior IKA Manager who will report to IKA Manager as part of our dynamic Centralized Channels team in Milan.

Your opportunity

The Junior International Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and developing the business with minor international optical chains and department stores. The main objective of the role is to actively drive sales and achieve budget targets by building and implementing sales plans of these accounts within the global framework agreement centrally defined.

How you will contribute

  • Support the Senior International Key Accounts Manager on major customers’ Budget and Sales Plans
  • Lead and build autonomously Budget and Sales & Marketing Plans on an assigned perimeter of minor customers
  • Negotiate, for each client within the assigned perimeter, brand listings and distribution plans in line with Net Sales targets
  • Fully manage the e-commerce platforms of each assigned customer, in line with corporate and brands’ guidelines
  • Periodically propose, analyze, and revise customers’ assortment plans to maximize sell-out (category management)
  • On a monthly basis, collect and analyze sell-out reports from customers to build action plans accordingly
  • Build joint customer’s Sales & Marketing Plans, in line with brands’ global guidelines
  • Support in the negotiation and implementation of marketing plans within the assigned perimeter of minor customers
  • Build strong relationships both externally with customers and internally within Kering Eyewear team, at local level and HQ level
  • Communicate and present to customers brand values and positioning together with collections highlights
  • Regularly visit customers’ top doors to ensure merchandising standards are in line with the agreed plans
  • Set up and monitor, for each customer within the assigned perimeter, the most suitable supply chain process in order to ensure the highest service level and orders fulfillment rate (i.e. collaborative planning, automatic replenishment)
  • Collect and manage orders in cooperation with the Sales Channel Operations department
  • Ensure the highest possible customer service level
  • Assist the Sales Channel Operations and Finance departments with invoicing and payments flows

Who you are

  • +2 years of experience in Account Management, with a proven track record in Luxury/fashion accessories/ lifestyle or FMCG
  • Sales driven with the ability to expand existing business and develop new opportunities
  • Self-starter, with the ability to organize and manage his/her own workload
  • Confident in dealing with customers and managing all aspects of the account
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship and negotiation capabilities
  • Pro-activity in identifying and converting opportunities
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Flexibility, hands-on approach, ability to handle multi-tasks
  • Proven record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment
  • Ability to work within fast growing environments and to contribute to build a new organization
  • Entrepreneurship, innovation attitude, exceptional commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the Eyewear sector will be an advantage but not a must
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of a second language will be a plus
