KERING EYEWEAR Product Manager

Your Opportunity

The candidate will be part of our PM team who is responsible for product development lifecycle, according to technical and design requirements, profitability and sustainability goals, timing and execution processes, within our Brand Portfolio’s specifications frame to ensure Kering Eyewear’s future growth.

 How you will contribute

• Acting as interface between internal departments involved in the product development process, including external interaction with suppliers
• Organizing meetings in the product development calendar, starting from the Debriefing session to the delivery of the first set of samples
• Ensuring proper circulation of technical information in order to start the execution of the prototypes
• Guaranteeing the complete oversight and timing of the product development process for the creation of the global collection
• Ensuring the preparation of all documentation necessary to enhance the launch of the collections (including PDM)
• Maintaining the progress of the product development plan reporting to the Head of each Department critical paths; proposing solutions and measures designed to ensure the deadlines established in the product development calendar with the objective to achieve quality and cost
• Providing proactive supportive management to the Brand, ensuring the information is always current and available to the entire team
• Managing the extra requests from the Brand for the development of prototypes 
• Participating in meetings for collection approval
• Being up to date on current trends in styles, materials, colors, technologies and processes, also exploring outside the eyewear industry; Including sales figures of the various Brands
• Interfacing continuously with suppliers, researching centers and other players relevant to find out new solutions, technologies, methodologies, to test and submit for approval to the head of the Department
• Managing and organizing Product Rooms and Showroom

Who you are

• Has worked in a similar positions in an international and modern structured company for at least 5 years
• Preferred Eyewear Experience
• University graduate (economical studies)
• Product & Project Management Skills
• Fluent in English, Knowledge of German or French is a plus
• Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications, reporting and database management
• Ability to work within fast growing environments and to contribute to build a new organization
• Passion for Fashion/Luxury business
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Analytical skills and problem solving attitude
• Flexibility, hands-on approach, ability to handle multi-tasks
• Entrepreneurship, innovation attitude, exceptional commitment to teamwork
• Mature personality, self-motivated, positive attitude
