Our Supply Chain department is hiring a dynamic Project Manager based in our NYC Corporate Office location.

The Project Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for evaluating, scoping, implementing, and launching programs impacting the Global Gucci Supply Chain with focus on the North America and Canada markets. Projects range from short multi-week engagements impacting small teams to year-long global system implementations impacting multiple departments (i.e. Global Supply Chain, Logistics & Distribution, Omnichannel, Last Mile Delivery, Supply Chain IT). Key responsibilities will include implementing future Supply Chain systems and processes and ensuring effective deployment of new capabilities and continuous improvement strategies into our existing operation. As Gucci America grows and broadens its supply chain capabilities and scope, this role will be critical in the planning and designing of efficient supply chain strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the End to End Project Management lifecycle;
  • Build business cases for all projects, from identifying project goals, required team(s), tasks, and desired impacts;
  • Develop and manage project timelines, workflows, and key business owners;
  • Manage and outline critical project activities and subsequent milestones;
  • Mitigate and resolve risks and issues through project start and completion;
  • Develop reporting standards and cadences;
  • Identify cross-functional impacts and serve as the expert liaison between key business owners, department managers and senior leadership for all projects;
  • Manage and document all processes and successfully transition ownership when required;
  • Create and implement templates to automatically track project costs;
  • Define reporting cadence to monitor project post-launch and its hyper-care period;
  • Serve as the Project Management Subject Matter Expert (SME);
  • Clear understanding of the “Big Picture” view to oversee and manage integration between the newly deployed project processes and already existing processes.

Key Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in cross-functional project management;
  • 2+ years relevant supply chain experience in operational or consulting roles;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of lean principles, project management and change management - Six Sigma, PMP or change management certification are a big plus;
  • Proven track record of successful project deployments with quantifiable results where you operated in a leadership role;
  • Clear communicator with keen ability to present findings in succinct presentations; experience with executive communications;
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented worker with the ability to keep track of project impacting details and manage multiple, simultaneous projects with competing priorities;
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement;
  • Willingness to dig in and contribute as a part of a cross-functional team;
  • Remain one step ahead of any issue; your goal is that there are no surprises;
  • Thorough 360 understanding of project impacts on all other aspects of the supply chain;
  • Experience with project management tools: i.e. Microsoft Project & Planner, Asana, Confluence, Jira, etc.;
  • Experience with Supply Chain Systems, including but not limited to ERP systems (SAP, JDA), Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems, Quality Management Systems;
  • Proven extended skills with MS Office suite (Excel & Power Point) and database/SQL experience a big plus.
