Role Mission

The Vice President, Integrated Marketing is responsible for strategizing and developing the 360 marketing strategy for all product launches, retail stores, and special projects—organizing an orchestra across a number of cross-functional teams to achieve incredible brand and business impact here in the Americas. This role will also oversee the implementation of all marketing-related initiatives to support partners, inclusive of both wholesale and leased channels. Part creative visionary and part analytical leader, the ideal candidate is able to effectively influence and amplify plans cascaded from worldwide (WW) to meet the unique needs and insights of the region. The role will be responsible for the North America and Latin America Integrated Marketing functions including Watches & Jewelry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define cross-functional 360 brand engagement strategy, overseeing a calendar of product launches, retail openings and evergreen support, as well as special projects that require unique marketing plans (examples include: Gucci Osteria, Pop-ups, Wooster Street store, Gucci Podcast);

  • Inspire creativity and localization in plan development, identifying opportunities to tailor worldwide frameworks to accelerate brand image and business impact;

  • Create a new and fresh approach to content marketing (Podcast, Playlists) and fashion shows to maximize reach of these brand-elevating platforms and tie content to point of purchase;

  • Manage development of marketing plans for wholesale and leased channels, timepieces and jewelry; partner closely with GAI Partnership Team, GAI Merchandising, Watches & Jewelry Team, Coty and Kering Eyewear to support key priorities, launches and special initiatives through tailored marketing plans;

    • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement integrated marketing plans that support brand objectives with focus on digital, traditional media and client facing activities; 

  • Develop overarching communications strategy that sets key performance goals and delivers the right balance of paid, owned, and earned traffic with positioning and messaging that converts at the point of purchase and equally drives brand buzz;

  • Build strong relationships across local and corporate departments, meeting regularly to drive coordinated efforts and ensure alignment on 360 marketing calendar and priorities. The role will be required to effectively influence cross-department teams to work in unison and according to the determined strategy;

  • Collaborate with Media team to determine focus ADV images to be supported and to define themes for native programs based on: merchandising investment and retail strategy and performance;

  • Collaborate with PR & Special Events to drive a communication and activation cadence that delivers the 360 marketing strategy and relevant brand image objectives;

  • Review inter-week reporting on product and retail to elevate insights and opportunities to activate marketing levers to drive results; create and monitor KPIs of marketing programs to drive increased effectiveness and best practices;

  • Define and manage yearly budgets for department, including coordination with GAI wholesale and Watches and Jewelry;

  • Lead, train and develop integrated marketing team, acting as a player-coach to provide opportunities for growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a marketing related position;

  • Experience leading marketing team and interacting with executive level of organization;

  • Experience working for or with a retailer or wholesaler;

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint: Outlook; Adobe Acrobat;

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship--building skills;

  • Appreciation and understanding of the luxury fashion industry;

  • Strong written and verbal skills;

  • Detail-oriented;

  • Positive and focused professional team player;

  • Domestic and international travel as needed.
