KERING - LATAM Logistics Manager MEXICO

The Logistics Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the operational logistics flow in Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Panama at the moment) with a specific focus on the following areas: Import/Export, Transportation and Warehousing. The Logistics Manager will coordinate with the Head of Logistics and Customer Service for the Americas in order to ensure alignment with guidelines in the Region as well as support local Brand teams (Store Operations, E-Commerce, Finance, IT) in the Region.

Key Accountabilities:

Import / Export

  • Monitor the import / export flow of goods for each Country, coordinating with local freight forwarders, custom brokers or trading companies to ensure proper delivery of merchandise;
  • Coordinate with internal departments (WW Invoicing, Transportation and Customer Service or Regional Import Export);
  • Manage compliance requirements with local import/export laws and coordinate actions to address new or changing requirements; audit paid duties and product classification;
  • Manage the relationship (contract and costs) with local logistics partners; audit performances on a periodical basis to identify areas of improvement;
  • Execute day-to-day operational and administrative activities to support import/export operations and manage costs;
  • Maintain an active communication flow with other Departments, logistics partners and vendor, US and global headquarters in order to facilitate information sharing and alignment on the key priorities.
  • Review billed costs and invoices for payment approval.

Local transportation

  • Coordinate transportation schedules and activities to deliver the merchandise to final stores/warehouse;
  • Monitor and implement security measures to protect the integrity of all deliveries from/to airports, warehouses and stores;
  • Define and monitor KPIs to control cost and operational performances; review with local Brand teams and implement improvement actions as needed;
  • Review billed costs and invoices for payment approval.


  • Monitor stock levels in the supply chain pipeline (in transit, warehouses and stores);
  • Coordinate activities with local providers to ensure proper order fulfillment and distribution, while maintaining stock accuracy and protecting the product quality;
  • Monitor costs and performances with specific KPIs;
  • Review billed costs and invoices for payment approval.
