MAIN MISSION

ensure the company’s accounting and financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective cost control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible in all aspects of financial controlling, including corporate accounting, statutory and financial reporting, financial planning, budget and forecast reporting, as well as developing of cost control procedures. Working under the guidance of a chief financial officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and rectifying discrepancies while assisting in the establishment of effective cost control systems.

ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION

Finance :

• Coordinate aspects of accounting management with Finance Shared Service (Sales reconciliation, accounts payable, invoice/billing, reconcile accounts, tax, reporting etc.)
• Coordinate with Finance Shared Service the monthly and annual closing
• Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
• Work closely with finance Shared Service to support the statutory financial reporting and tax returns.
• Support aspects of cash management with Finance Shared Service
• Support aspects of credit management and insurance with Finance Shared Service
• Procurement : work actively internaly and also with group shared service for potential saving opportunities.
• Actively assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with gpoup policy/legislation and established best practices
• Actively participate in preparation for the internal, external and tax audit
• Actively manage the preparation of financial statements in compliance with gpoup policy/official guidelines and requirements
• Active communication and liasion with HQ Controlling department for effective and smooth collaboration
• Actively work with the preparation of budgets or forecasts
• Actively manage and implement  adequate cost control processes linked to the business needs.
• Support on investment strategies decisions with support documents
• Support on financial planning and Analytics for business assessment
• Actively work in developing reports for management or regulatory bodies
• Project management for ad-hoc processes implementation and improvements, such as after sales(cost accounting) and sustainable finance kpis.
• Utilize accounting ERP IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
• Create and maintain power BI reports

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proven experience as assistant controller or other similar position
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  1. Understanding on general ledger functions and the month/year-end close 2. Understanding of data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  3. Understanding on creating financial statements
• Experience in internal control or audit
• Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel, powerpoint and power bi) and accounting ERP system (e.g. M3-Infor/ SAP)
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Compliance oriented.

• Advance level in english(speaking and writing) is a must
• BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
