    BOTTEGA VENETA - Finance and Business Controlling Manager Northern Europe

    We are currently seeking a Finance and Business Controlling Manager Northern Europe who will be based in London and report to the General Manager Northern Europe.

    How you will contribute

    • A key asset of the Northern Europe Head Office team, you will support the GM to monitor the retail performance in terms of sales and profitability, for both actual and planning processes
    • Prepare periodical management reporting and provide financial analysis as needed, in particular for capital investments and contract negotiations
    • Coordinate with the region’s Finance Controller to ensure a timely and accurate financial closure process
    • Drive the annual budget process for Northern Europe, as well as the periodical budget revisions, in collaboration with the GM, Retail Managers and the central Finance team to ensure a timely submission of targets and projections
    • Be main point of reference within NE Area for Finance matters and work closely with the Shared service center (Paris, London and Cadempino) to oversee the production of periodic monthly closure and ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
    • Manage the P&L of the sub-region on behalf of the GM and be the main point of contact for our Retail and Store Managers on any financial
    • Collaborate with Legal department for lease management and the general oversight of Northern Europe’s real estate portfolio
    • Prepare feasibility study for new projects, presenting the Business plan to the Regional management Team and working closely with the General Manager to support in the negotiations
    • Cooperate with the Regional Finance team and with other corporate offices for the collection of commentaries and supporting documentation
    • Support and coordinate with local Finance of NE area to ensure that appropriate reporting, accounting systems and internal control procedures are in place

    Who you are

    • 5 years of experience in controlling team or audit firm
    • Previous experience in retail controlling for fashion brands is highly appreciated
    • Graduated in Business Administration, Management or similar
    • Naturally accurate and deadline-oriented
    • Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
    • Analytical skills
    • Proactive and problem-solving attitude
    • Dynamic, stress resistant, reacting fast and willing propose solutions
    • Advanced user of MS Office pack, especially MS Excel
    • Advanced knowledge of software SAP and Hyperion is a plus
    • Fully fluent in English
