    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

    ROLE  

    This position is based in the Hong Kong Saint Laurent office, directly reporting to Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan General Manager and responsible for the full spectrum of communication activities, Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution across Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan

    MISSION

    COMMUNICATION

    • In charge of a full spectrum of brand communications activities Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan
    • Budget management and planning
    • Develop, implement and execute strategic communication plan
    • Work closely with  Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan General Manager and Head of communication to keep the consistency of the global brand image
    • Formulate and share the vision and strategies within the team to further develop the brand’s image and identity in the local market
    • Enhance the brand visibility and generate social buzz, with strong relationship of print & social media, celebrities and KOLs in the region
    • Work closely with the retail and merchandising departments to ensure that marketing activities are in line with commercial needs
    • Research in specific market areas and conduct media analysis reports & competitor study periodically
    • Liaise with agencies and suppliers for communication project and branding event execution
    • Supervise and guide to subordinates on daily operations.

    MARKETING

    • Devise clear trade marketing strategy for communication with key partners, landlords and wholesale partners in the region
    • Develop the brand’s social media & digital marketing strategic plan & calendar in the region
    • Manage the marketing budget and plan
    • Analyze, identify and propose communication and innovation opportunities to drive/grow the brand awareness and desirability
    • Work closely with headquarter team to launch all global digital media campaigns, with full support to local commercial occasions as well
    • support e-comm by project, via digital and social channels
    • Supervise local social media strategy:  accounts content plan, follower recruitment, paid activation, CRM integration
    • Engage with qualified influencers to develop qualitative paid content and social buzz to support commercial activities
    • Manage monthly social media & digital marketing dashboard coordination and share with stakeholders periodically.

    PROFILE

    • Degree holder in Marketing, Business , communication or related discipline
    • 8 - 10 years proven experience in marketing or communication, with at least 4 years in a managerial position, Minimum of 1 year of digital experience, including but not limited to social commerce
    • Good understanding of luxury business and with International/ Cross-Functional experience will be an asset.
    • Strong connections with PR & marketing agencies and excellent contacts with the media and press
    • Extensive knowledge of different advertising channels ,in digital costs and budgets
    • Deep understanding of all social media channels, CRM, SEM and digital marketing
    • Good knowledge of all the different platforms and different areas of competencies in the digital world:  from ecommerce to social media (including digital PR / advertising / branded content)
    • Possess strong relationship with media, KOL and celebrities
    • Creative, proactive, details-minded and with good problem-solving skills
    • Strong verbal & written communication skills and efficient multi-tasking skills
