    And the 2013 Spotlighting Women Documentary Award winners are…

    For the third year, the Kering Foundation has joined the Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund to present the Spotlighting Women Documentary Awards. Three film projects have been chosen to highlight the extraordinary contribution of 3 women from around the world: the leader of a corruption task force in the Congress of Colombia in Democrazy, directed by Andreas Dalsgaard, Nicolas Servide & Viviana Gomez; poverty-fighting activists in Latin America in Disruption, directed by Pamela Yates ; and the women behind the first girls’ school in a small Afghan village in What Tomorrow Brings, Directed by Beth Murphy. The three rewarded will collectively receive $50,000 and 1-year mentoring by the Tribeca Film Institute to finalize and promote their films.
