Role Mission

Part of the EMEA Regional Merchandising Team and responsible of the Women's RTW buying process as well as motivate and build a team to exceed plan and drive the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Control data analysis
  • Monitor/study detailed sales and stock for the specific category (style, store, etc.)
  • Maximize sales and results by store through collaboration with the stores
  • Coordinate with WW merchants on product feedback and market needs, pricing and line building through written and verbal communication and selling reports
  • Allocate merchandise (selection, quantities, assortment) for each store
  • Inventory management: achieve growth across all classifications and price ranges
  • Analyze selling trends and react with reorders and cancellation
  • Evaluate market trends and price of competitors
  • Study and report on competitors pricing, products and merchandising presentation strategies
  • Participate in European fashion presentations, meetings and seasonal buys
  • Closely monitor progress of business react accordingly
  • Optimize buying by store to exploit opportunities by market
  • Analyze selling trends and react timely with reorders
  • Constantly work closely to the Hub Merchandising teams across the EMEA Region
  • Lead and develop Assistant Merchandiser
  • Coordination of team work

Key Requirements

  • Successful studies in business management, majoring in business administration or marketing
  • At least 5 or 6 years of experience in similar contests
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude
  • Experience in large volume distribution
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong passion for fashion
  • Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Ability to understand current market trends and buying psychological mindset
  • Talent for managing, coaching and developing a team
