    The Marketing & Client Engagement Director defines Balenciaga’s client & communications strategies: Cultivates media relationships, oversees PR initiatives, and manages VIP partnerships to drive impactful engagement across digital, print, out-of-home, and influencer channels. This role shapes the brand’s regional presence by aligning messaging with strategic market insights and trends. Leading the adaptation and execution of global client engagement strategies, the role ensures alignment with the region’s unique dynamics. In close collaboration with the Retail Managers, and Store Managers, it drives client acquisition, retention, and elevation through personalized events, gifting programs, and omnichannel initiatives. Additionally, the role oversees CRM initiatives to enhance customer experience, foster deeper connections, and reinforce brand loyalty through tailored interactions. Strong cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external partners ensures seamless execution of client-focused projects while maintaining the highest standards of service and engagement.

    Communications & PR

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive Middle East communications strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning
    • Manage media relations, securing strategic partnerships and advertorial opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
    • Oversee VIP communication strategies, fostering relationships with regional VIPs and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
    • Plan and optimize media buying across print, outdoor, and digital channels, while tracking and analyzing PR performance.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, making strategic recommendations for brand communications and digital retail partnerships.

    Client Engagement & CRM

    • Lead regional client engagement initiatives tailored to market dynamics, focusing on acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
    • Drive omnichannel efforts for a seamless and personalized client experience.
    • Oversee client data accuracy, segmentation, and CRM strategy execution to enhance customer insights and engagement.
    • Partner with the CRM Manager to design exclusive events and in-store activations, ensuring high-value clients receive priority attention.

    Event & Gifting Strategy

    • Plan and execute high-impact events, including store openings, product launches, fashion shows, and VIC experiences.
    • Collaborate with the Retail Director and store teams on client targeting, vendor selection, and seamless event execution.
    • Oversee the development and execution of a regional gifting strategy, aligning with client preferences and budget allocations.
    • Evaluate event and gifting performance through key metrics such as client acquisition, engagement levels, and ROI.

    Team & Budget Management

    • Train and support retail teams on client engagement tools, best practices, and luxury service standards.
    • Oversee budget planning, tracking, and allocation to ensure alignment with regional business objectives.

    Collaboration & Coordination

    • Partner with retail managers, store teams, and external vendors to align on client initiatives and share best practices.
    • Liaise with event agencies and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of client engagement and brand-building strategies.
