The HR Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily delivery of HR operational services while driving process improvements, HR transformation initiatives, and HR systems integration. This role supervises HR operations activities to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable HR processes aligned with the AMER HR Shared Services (HRSS) model.
The position plays a key role in change management, optimization of HR technologies, and partnership with HR and business stakeholders to support the implementation of regional and local integrated systems and streamlined workflows.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Manage own HR Operations workload in support of overall team delivery.
- Supervise day-to-day HR operational activities aligned with the HRSS Service Catalogue, including employee data management, onboarding and offboarding, and compliance-driven requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR transactions across systems, processes, and internal infrastructure.
- Monitor service levels and maintain operational excellence through defined HR service delivery standards.
- Supervise, coach, and support HR operations team members, including performance management, training, and development.
- Act as local lead and contributor to HR transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and employee/brand experience.
- Partner with AMER HRSS Centers of Excellence to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization.
- Support the implementation of improved workflows, policies, and service delivery models.
- Drive adoption of new processes and technologies across the HRSS domain.
- Support organizational change initiatives related to HR systems, processes, and operating models.
- Contribute to the execution of change management plans, including communication strategies, training activities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with HRSS and local stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions during system implementations and operational changes.
- Monitor adoption levels and address resistance using structured change management practices.
- Act as a key liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors during HRIS implementation and system integration initiatives.
- Support the integration of HR systems with payroll and other platforms within the HRSS ecosystem.
- Assist with system testing, data validation, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across HR systems and integrations.
- Generate and analyze HR operational metrics and KPIs to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities (Brand MPMs).
- Provide management reports and dashboards related to HRSS service delivery, system performance, and workforce data.
- Support HR data governance and ensure accuracy and consistency across HR systems.
- Ensure HR processes comply with federal, state, and local employment legislation as well as company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services environments.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Proven experience supporting HR transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Experience participating in HRIS implementations and system integration initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, DataFlow; UKG preferred).
- Solid understanding of HR data management, workflow automation, and systems integration.
- Experience with HR reporting and analytics tools.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills, including training and knowledge transfer.
- Project coordination capabilities with exposure to systems implementation.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM) preferred.
- Previous experience in HR Shared Services or global HR operations environments is a plus.
- Fluent in English (90%)
