Your opportunity We are seeking to hire a Retail Excellence Manager, based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Vice President, SEAO. This role plays a critical part in driving client engagement, managing digital retail tools, and elevating retail store performance across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. You will oversee key retail excellence projects and initiatives within the store environment, working cross-functionally to develop data-driven actions while ensuring full alignment with Balenciaga’s brand image, service standards, and corporate guidelines.

    Your opportunity

    We are seeking to hire a Retail Excellence Manager, based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Vice President, SEAO.

    This role plays a critical part in driving client engagement, managing digital retail tools, and elevating retail store performance across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. You will oversee key retail excellence projects and initiatives within the store environment, working cross-functionally to develop data-driven actions while ensuring full alignment with Balenciaga’s brand image, service standards, and corporate guidelines.

    How you will contribute

    As Retail Excellence Manager, you will be accountable for shaping and executing the Retail Excellence agenda across the SEAO region. Key responsibilities include:

    • Develop and implement the overall Retail Excellence strategy for Southeast Asia & Oceania, including special projects, operating plans, and budget management
    • Implement and maintain Retail Excellence standards in accordance with brand guidelines to ensure consistency in image, service, and customer experience
    • Develop and oversee customer-centric initiatives aimed at driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
    • Analyse all relevant retail KPIs and implement action plans to elevate Client Engagement and enhance sales performance
    • Drive the Customer Experience Evaluation (CEE) process and work closely with local Retail teams to implement corrective and improvement actions
    • Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to translate insights into solid, actionable plans that support sales objectives
    • Supervise the Retail Training Manager, ensuring retail and operational training initiatives effectively support service quality and customer journey standards
    • Collaborate with local and HQ functions on special initiatives and in-store activations
    • Stay well-versed in industry and luxury retail best practices, sharing insights with Regional and HQ teams

    Who you are

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in retail management, training, and/or development within specialty stores or international luxury brand companies, with recent experience at a senior level
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of the South East Asia & Oceania markets, with a proven track record of successfully implementing initiatives and driving business results through clienteling
    • High level of commercial acumen, strong fashion sensitivity, self-initiative, and a clear drive for results
    • A collaborative team player with a demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and translate strategy into effective execution
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
