Role Mission

The BIT Business Relationship Manager acts as a business partner and as a point of reference of the in the region for main projects / activities in order to streamline and monitor activities and communications regarding business requirements and processes, with a focus on retail.  They will act work together with regional management to keep a strong relationship between business and IT and maintain quality assurance in all projects and initiatives.    This role acts as an internal consultant focusing on regional processes in partnership with global IT strategies and alignment of WW and regional priorities.  The BIT Business Relationship Manager monitors the service level provided to the retail network and proposes actions for improvement.  They will act as a facilitator of the communication process between the regional business and all technological departments.  The role supports the business in planning and monitoring strategic initiatives, with the role of project manager or functional expert to help in avoid and mitigate escalations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understand business requirements of retail, including risks and impact;
  • Work with various stakeholders to design possible solutions;
  • Support the business in the definition of new solutions and/or enhancements of existing systems;
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure on-time delivery of pending solutions;
  • Anticipate business evolution and needs to define an evolutionary roadmap in information systems;
  • Own IT strategic plan for specific area of responsibility;
  • Partner with Gucci BIT HQ and Kering America technology to identify new market solutions;
  • Ensure best practices are understood and applied;
  • Point of reference for all escalations for the business/IT related major issues;
  • Ensure the proper adoption and execution of internal processes and procedures;
  • Monitor staff performance to detect any gap in the required skills and expertise;
  • Work cross functionally with Kering technology monitor the service level in stores;
  • Regional support and contact for Gucci BIT HQ. 

Key Requirements

  • 4 – 6 years’ experience in delivering SAP retail solutions combined with project management, preferably in the luxury fashion industry;
  • Ability to build working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP sales and distribution;
  • System Core Skills: SAP Sales and Distribution capabilities, retail inventory management, Pricing, POS Data transfer and Audit;
  • Tableau knowledge as a plus.
