Role Mission

The Inventory Control Staff ensures the efficiency of inventory by monitoring assortment and stock coverages with a focus on e-commerce. He/she will communicate with our external e-tailers and will oversee both inbound and outbound flows. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Cooperating with external e-tailers on a daily basis, while also collecting all necessary documents
  • Working with the company’s systems and making sure they are aligned with those of our partners
  • Weekly overseeing goods’ movements towards external partners
  • Identifying and analyzing discrepancies within inbound and outbound flows, in cooperation with external partners and Gucci Logistics Department
  • Daily analyzing external partners’ sales and precisely integrating them within our internal systems
  • Ensuring that company’s policies and procedures are punctually and correctly followed by warehouses
  • Correct products’ quantities through the necessary stock adjustments

Key Requirements

  • Preferred degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science, or Statistics
  • Strong analytical and IT skills
  • Ability to work in team and to multi-task
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent time management and follow up skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a result-oriented approach
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced working environment
  • Availability to travel
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Confidence in using SAP will be considered as a plus
