Role Mission

The MEDIA EFFECTIVENESS ANALYST is a key role in the Media Science and Insights Team, supporting the Media Science Team and Channel Experts in driving higher media effectiveness across marketing media channels and regions, by steering weekly and monthly processes and leading the development of the Gucci Marketing ROI model.

Responsibilities

Perform omnichannel performance analyses on a weekly basis, deriving insights and reporting them to Channel Expert and Media Insights Team

  • Support the development and maintenance of in-house marketing/media mix modeling analytics solution
  • Perform full funnel real-time performance reviews, diagnose marketing spends’ impact on business KPIs and translate into actionable recommendations
  • Conduct ad-hoc correlation and incrementatility analyses for Channel Expert and Media Insights Team
  • Develop an experimentation framework for A/B testing and hypothesis testing
  • Collaborate with Global Insights, Regional Insights, Channel Experts, Digital Business and other cross-functional teams to inform media planning/optimization by processing the monthly budget re-allocations and revenue forecasting
  • Translate findings from analyses into model design for the Data Science team
  • Communicate findings to relevant key stakeholders at all levels
  • Prepare, maintain and update any relevant documentation
  • Provide on-going support in data quality management

 

Key Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in an analyst role, e.g. internal business analyst, marketing analyst, consulting or industry role
  • Background in statistical analysis, econometrics, data modelling
  • Data analysis languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. are required
  • Experience in digital marketing and usage of digital marketing platforms (e.g. Google Ads/Google Analytics/FB Business Manager) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Confidence with working in a multicultural, global organization
  • Passion for the fashion, luxury and digital industry
  • Flexibility and multitasking skills
