    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

    ROLE  

    This position is based in the Hong Kong Saint Laurent office, reporting directly to the Greater China Communication & Marketing Director, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Market General Manager. The role is responsible for the full spectrum of communication activities, as well as the strategy and execution of digital marketing across Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

    MISSION

    COMMUNICATION

    • Oversee the full spectrum of brand communication activities across Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan
    • Lead budget management and planning
    • Develop and execute strategic communication plans
    • Work closely with Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan General Manager and regional communication head to ensure alignment with the global brand image
    • Define and communicate the vision and strategies within the team to strengthen the brand’s image and identity in local markets
    • Develop the brand celebrity & influencer strategic plan, to create qualitative and relevant social buzz in the local markets, to support the local commercial moments
    • Manage agencies and suppliers in the execution of communication projects and branding events
    • Supervise and guide subordinates in daily operations

    MARKETING

    • Devise clear trade marketing strategy for communication with key partners and landlords in the region
    • Develop the brand’s social media & digital marketing strategic plan & calendar in the region
    • Analyze, identify and propose communication and innovation opportunities to drive/grow the brand awareness and desirability
    • Work closely with headquarter team to launch all global digital media campaigns, with full support to local commercial occasions as well
    • Develop the local social media strategy: accounts content plan, follower recruitment & engagement, CRM integration
    • Partner with retail and merchandising teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives
    • Conduct market research, media analysis, and competitor studies on a regular basis
    • Manage monthly social media & digital marketing dashboard coordination and share with stakeholders periodically.

    PROFILE

    • Degree holder in Marketing, Business , communication or related discipline
    • 8 - 10 years proven experience in marketing or communication, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial position, and relevant digital experience
    • Solid understanding of the luxury business; international and cross-functional experience is an asset
    • Strong network with PR and marketing agencies, and excellent media and press contacts
    • Established relationships with media, influencers, and celebrities
    • Extensive knowledge of different advertising channels
    • Deep expertise in social media platforms, SEM, and digital marketing
    • Creative, proactive, result-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong multi-tasking skills
