BALENCIAGA – Architecture Region Manager (F/M)

Your opportunity

Your main responsibilities include design, execution, supervising and managing each project through research, layout, local requirements, and with respect to Balenciaga’s guidelines.  The Architecture Region Manager will act as the point of reference for all professional representatives involved, both internally and externally in EMEA.  The position oversees technical work, time, cost & quality control from inception to completion

You will oversee and coordinate all architectural and construction activities involved with the creation or renovation of the new boutique, temporary store, Pop Up store… in EMEA Region

How you will contribute

• Manage a team of Project Managers based in Paris
• Establish contact with architectural teams to obtain location drawings, guidelines and all other necessary technical start-up information
• Collect start-up information from corporate and local involved parties that are necessary to develop the design, following company commercial requirements
• Develop feasibility studies to help evaluate locations and estimate budgets and timings
• Prepare Capex and Cost reports which are to be updated regularly, parallel to the project development
• Visit sites and prepare all necessary reports: from setting-out to punch list completion and opening, to ensure quality of building construction and millwork installation, identifying outstanding issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up
• Collect drawings and keep records of the evolution of the store opening
• Organize the store Maintenance related to Architecture matters (Not related to Operations team)

Who you are

• 7+ years of relevant luxury or high end retail experience / projects, or similar job position in competitor companies
• Detail oriented, proactive and highly organized
• Able to work under pressure and tight dead-lines while self-motivating
• Ability to prioritize task execution based on business needs
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain a positive work environment while respecting brand values and behaviours
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication, analytical, and construction drawing skills
