    About us Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique. Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director. In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

    Your opportunity

    The position is responsible for driving the evolution, optimization, and quality of Balenciaga’s global e‑commerce front‑end experience. This includes enhancing website performance and user experience, leading cross‑functional digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with Kering and regional stakeholders, and overseeing UX design activities. The role ensures that all front‑end developments, UX improvements, and platform evolutions support business growth, uphold brand standards, and deliver a seamless, high‑quality customer journey across markets.

    How you will contribute

    Website Conversion & User Experience Optimization

    • Work closely with Balenciaga and Kering Data teams, UX Designer, and product stakeholders to identify friction points in the user journey and propose improvements.
    • Monitor benchmark and sister brands, analyze behavioral data, funnel performance, traffic patterns, and heatmap insights to recommend optimizations.
    • In collaboration with US designer and Data specialist, propose, and monitor A/B tests and experimentation initiatives across pages and components.


    Front-End Project management

    • Validate user stories and follow development progress; ensure and coordinate user testing with Kering.
    • Coordinate requirements with e‑Merchandising, Performance, Content, Data, Marketing and other teams at Balenciaga.
    • Follow up with Kering CORE functionalities for all brands, be able to challenge them and anticipate impacts on bal.com.
    • Collaborate with Data, Kering Tech, and SEO stakeholders to ensure right prioritization of SEO and Tracking evolutions.
    • Lead replatforming project on the brand side

    Digital Roadmap & Regions Alignment

    • Follow up & consolidate the digital roadmap of Balenciaga and of the Kering group, help building business cases for selected projects and propose arbitrations of the resources.
    • Coordinate with China market which has a separate platform to align UX experiences.
    • Present evolutions and collect local requests from the US, KR and JP markets.

    Website Quality Management

    • Ensure the quality of the websites by monitoring bugs and their resolution.


    UX Designer Management

    • Manage and coordinate the UX designer workload, priorities, and deliverables.
    • Ensure UX proposals align with business goals, brand positioning, and technical constraints.

    Who you are

    • Able to interpret data and translate insights into UX or feature improvements.
    • Strong understanding of e‑commerce and digital experience best practices.
    • Solid knowledge of UX/UI principles, user‑centric design, and conversion optimization.
    • Familiarity with web analytics tools
    • Strong problem‑solving mindset to anticipate risks and identify opportunities.
    • Detail‑oriented with high standards of quality.
    • Comfortable with unclear guidelines and tight deadlines.
